Margeson makes any necessary changes and the information is sent to the Invisalign lab where the aligners are made.
Margeson can show patients each movement with Invisalign’s ClinCheck software throughout treatment.
Invisalign aligners made of clear medical-grade plastic that is custom-designed for each patient. Patients typically receive between four and six sets aligners during their orthodontic appointment. Each aligner is able to last for approximately two weeks.
The aligners work together to gradually move the teeth in a proper align, Margeson said. Treatment usually lasts between nine and 18 months.
Oral Hygiene Benefits
Invisalign treatment is easy because aligners can be removed as you drink, eat, and floss.
Margeson stated that tartar and plaque can build around brackets in patients who aren’t vigilant about their oral hygiene. Food often gets caught around brackets.” “Flossing may take a little longer because floss threaders must be used to move between wires and teeth in order to floss properly.”
Removable aligners remove any potential obstructions. The patients wear the aligners, remove them for eating and drinking and are able clean and floss as normal.
