ALBANY, GEORGIA– Invisalign continues to gain in popularity for one Albany, GA orthodontist as more people seek out of options that are aesthetic for orthodontic treatment.
Since 1999 since 1999, Dr. Dallas Margeson offers Invisalign at his south Georgia orthodontics clinic. As Align Technology- the pioneers of the invisible braces market who created Invisalign- introduces new Invisalign products, Margeson offers several of them as alternative treatment options to patients.
Since Invisalign was first introduced in 1999, the firm has developed a variety of new variations of the product, Margeson said. They include:

* Invisalign Full A treatment option which can correct malocclusion in simple and complex cases.

* Invisalign Teen, geared toward patients who are teenagers and younger, compliance indicators and Power Ridges are available on this line. Invisalign Teen permits the natural eruption of permanent teeth, and it also addresses supra-eruption. Invisalign Teen was made available in the United States in July 2008.

* Invisalign Expressis A treatment option that employs up to 10 aligners. It’s a more affordable solution for minor spacing or cases of crowding, or 激光脫毛 – as a precursor to restorative or cosmetic treatment.

* Vivera Retainers – These retainers can be used to ensure that patients remain in good health after treatment has ended. Retainers with new designs are available to patients through a subscription plan. Vivera Retainers were made accessible in the U.S. in January 2008.
According to the Albany, GA Invisalign provider, “Invisalign has been proven to be a viable option for a variety malocclusion cases.” “That, coupled with the attractive features that many patients desire and the benefits for oral hygiene make it the ideal orthodontic solution for our patients.”
How Invisalign Functions
Invisalign treatment begins with the final result visible. A 3-D computer model is made of the patient’s smile. It shows the patient’s teeth before and 脫毛 – after the Invisalign treatment. Margeson makes any necessary changes and the information is sent to the Invisalign lab where the aligners are made.
Margeson can show patients each movement with Invisalign’s ClinCheck software throughout treatment.
Invisalign aligners made of clear medical-grade plastic that is custom-designed for each patient. Patients typically receive between four and six sets aligners during their orthodontic appointment. Each aligner is able to last for approximately two weeks.
The aligners work together to gradually move the teeth in a proper align, Margeson said. Treatment usually lasts between nine and 18 months.
Oral Hygiene Benefits
Invisalign treatment is easy because aligners can be removed as you drink, eat, and floss.
Margeson stated that tartar and plaque can build around brackets in patients who aren’t vigilant about their oral hygiene. Food often gets caught around brackets.” “Flossing may take a little longer because floss threaders must be used to move between wires and teeth in order to floss properly.”
Removable aligners remove any potential obstructions. The patients wear the aligners, remove them for eating and drinking and are able clean and floss as normal.
