How Invisalign works
Invisalign treatment begins with the goal in mind. A 3-D computerized model of the patient’s dental teeth is created which shows the teeth of the patient prior to and after the Invisalign treatment. Margeson will make any needed adjustments – http://www.examandinterviewtips.com/search?q=adjustments and the data is forwarded to the Invisalign lab where the aligners are designed.
With the help of Invisalign’s ClinCheck software, Margeson is able to show patients each move in the treatment process, aligner by alignmenter, throughout the treatment process.
Invisalign aligners consist of clear, medical-grade , plastic and are custom-made for each individual patient. In general, patients receive up to six aligners at their next orthodontic appointment. Each aligner will be worn for approximately two weeks.
The series of aligners work in tandem to gradually reposition the teeth in a proper alignment, Margeson said. The process typically lasts between nine to 18 months.
Oral Hygiene Benefits
Keeping the teeth and gums healthy is simple during Invisalign treatment since the aligners are removed during eating, drinking and 激光脫毛 – https://www.evrbeauty.com/ brushing.
Margeson said that tartar and plaque can build around brackets in patients who don’t pay attention to their dental hygiene. Food is often caught around brackets.” Flossing may take longer due to floss threaders that are required to maneuver between teeth and wires in order to floss properly.
With removable aligners, you can eliminate any potential obstacles. Patients can wear their aligners for a while and then take them off to drink or eat. They can also floss and brush as usual.
